At the conclusion of the regular season, All Star Teams are formed in each division to compete in local and regional tournament play. We have enjoyed quite a bit of success over the past 22 years, and we are proud to list LA-MV PONY's accomplishments.

PONY 14U All-stars take Silver at Rosita Regional Tournament

The 2010 Pony 14U All-Star team had a wildly successful tournament season this year, culminating in the deepest postseason run by any LA-MV 14U team to date. The team, led by coaches Jeff Schwan, Byron Young, and Alan Huwe, was comprised of thirteen players from the Pony Division this year. Stocked with deep pitching and a potent offense, the team enjoyed early success by running the tables and capturing gold at the 4th of July Tournament held in Fremont. At the LA-MV-hosted Rosita PONY Regional Tournament, our 14U team got off to a hot start, defeating Toro and Sierra Valley in back-to-back games. Next came an epic battle with perennial powerhouse Campbell, in which LA-MV narrowly lost a tense contest by single run.With their backs to the wall, the team roared back, defeating a tough San Bruno squad and earning LA-MV its first-ever berth in a 14U Regional championship game. Although they ultimately lost in the Final to Campbell, this season’s team successfully raised the bar for future LA-MV Pony All-Stars.
