Wanted: LA-MV Alumni Info

We are in the process of updating our alumni pages on the website and would like to collect any information on former LA-MV Pony Baseball players currently playing for college (including junior college) or professional (minor and major leagues) teams. Please email Byron Young with as much information as you can supply including player name, team name, position, year (if in college) or pro level (i.e. MLB affiliations and/or league). A current email address contact for the player or parents would be appreciated for follow-up info.

Field Prep Specialist Needed

This is a paid, seasonal position within LA-MV Pony Baseball. The specialist will be responsible for preparing the field prior to LA-MV Pony Division home games at Rosita Park in Los Altos. No prior experience is needed, although the candidate should be familiar with baseball field features and must be capable of operating power equipment (tractor) and miscellaneous field maintenance tools. Once trained, specialists should be able to complete a pre-game prep in well under an hour. There are up to 3 midweek late afternoon games, and 3 Saturday games per week. The job runs from March 22 through early-June, exact date TBD. Interested parties ages 16 and older should contact Chris Dickerson, Pony Division Director.
